A limited edition of 1,000 vinyl LPs of Subterranean Homesick Blues will be released in January. ReImagine Music issued the collection of Dylan covers by indie artists as a digital-only album in October 2010. Reportedly the LP includes the 2 bonus tracks previously offered by Amazon, but not the iTunes exclusive tracks. The LP is listed for pre-sale by many on-line sellers, including amazon.co.uk and amazon.de. Not yet listed at Amazon-US.

Bob Clifford: BIABH…Again
Bob Clifford of the UK has recorded an album of Dylan songs with the title Bringing It All Back Home…Again. The album includes tracks and outtakes from Dylan’s namesake album, most done in very different styles or arrangements, some “in the style” of other performers (see descriptions below.)
While not a commercial release, the album is available to collectors so qualifies for inclusion in Dylan Cover Albums HERE.
The album is available in mp3 format via e-mail. To enquire contact Bob Clifford
The tracklist and Bob’s notes:
- If You Gotta Go, Go Now: using an arrangement of an instrumental track from the BIABH sessions
- I’ll Keep It With Mine: Beach Boys/Sail on Sailor version
- Love Minus Zero/No Limit: a Byrds version
- Outlaw Blues #1: Steely Dan Black Friday version
- Outlaw Blues #2: in the style of John Mayall & Eric Clapton / Lonely Years
- She Belongs To Me: a Bob Dylan/Bruce Langhorn guitar version
- The Gates of Eden: the 5/4 version
- It’s Alright Ma: Tombstone Blues version
- Farewell Angelina: Pink Floyd version

Miscellaneous ramblings…
» The next and last DataBase update for 2010 will be at the end of the month.
» Two covers in the Dutch Gronings dialect will be added to the DataBase at the next update, both are Make You Feel My Love but they are different translations:
- Wia Buze – Ik mag die aibels geern on Mien wad, mien stilte (2009)
- Irene Wilkens – Wait dat ik van die hol on Voutstappen in de snij [2010 EP]
Thanks to Hans Bosch
While there are probably “Gronings” covers listed only as “Dutch,” these are the first two labeled as “Gronings” in the DataBase.
I appreciate any details about the dialects or languages of translated covers, either new or already listed.
